The services provided are good quality and affordable but the way Basic Salon treats their employees is unethical and I'm no longer happy spend money in this place.

I went into this place for a Brazilian wax and it was the worst experience ever... I've done Brazilian before but this time it was the most painful, long, excruciating ever. The girl who did it did not know what she was doing and kept on insisting on very painful things even though she knew I was in pain. I got out of there bleeding, literally, and my skin down there was swollen and red for 2 days. NEVER going back!!

Hi, I would recommend this salon to everyone. One of my friends got me here and ever since then I have been using this salon for hair cuts coloring etc. They do good job and I am very satisfied with the results at the end.

I think it is fantastic at basic salon. I myself like to book all my appointments with zara when she is free during her working hours. Price is good and zara makes me feel really comfortable during all my sessions. We have good chats while she is working on me. Love this place. Relaxing.

I accidentally came across this unique place on my way home from work two years ago and had been using their services since. I must say they tend to be very busy and I find myself best to book in advance. The prices they offer are very reasonable and the services they gave is much more worth while to visit then many other places in London. I can understand the fuss of others who demands more then they can give in the price range that no where else could offer. So if you are looking for a quick service that does not cost you an arm or leg, well, here's the best place to go!

Very nice salon, very decent prices, great vibrating pedicure chairs for total relax.
The staff is friendly easy going and down to earth.

Been here a few times. Last time i had went i Booked a brazilian wax, rushed to get there on time. When i did arrive i was held waiting for over 15 minutes. Then when i was seen, the lady told me she couldn't remove all the hairs because she had someone else waiting? Well what about the fact i had to wait almost 20minute because she ran late on her last customer? she didn't leave the room for me to get dressesd, which is the normal decency of other practitioners in other salons. Not impressed at all!
Also the lady told me how she hated her job? Not very pleasant whilst she was working on me
Response from Basicsalon Workshop Workshop Instructor
It surely helps if you were to let the reception knows of your distress immediately as we are prompt to solve and to improve as a workshop learning center without any hesitation.
It is understandable that not all hair can be remove if the length is not long enough ie. at least 1.5cm for the wax to grab to remove. Therefore, those hair that is less in length will tend to remain which can be individually plucked if a few. So it is best to wait for all the hair grown out to length to come for a wax as none of our therapists are train to pluck a Full Brazilian.
With this we apologized that the therapist in question is unable to remove all your hair by wax in this visit and had not explain herself clearly for your understanding. Her work is now in review and she is happy to receive you on your next visit to assist her in her learning progression.

I;am very disappointed with this salon, I called today to book an appointment but the man I spoke to on the phone sounded very un-interested and then said if i wished to be booked in to pay a deposit of £10 or I will not be seen?!! I found him very rude and decided not to book myself in after all!
Response from Slawek Workshop Manager
This may surely seem rather odd for those who are new to appointment bookings at our workshop. Our policy, like many others, require us to take appointment by deposit of which is deductible from the total treatment services upon arrival.

This is to secure our appointment slots which are vital to our practitioners for employment and our workshop running. It is to reduce the number of 'No show' and 'Last Minute Cancellation' as we are unable to take in others who really need to be serve at that hour of time, hence our 24hour cancellation policy.

However, we will be please to attend to any walk in if any of our practitioners are available on a first come first serve basis without any appointments. We even have a 30mins call in prior to arrival without appointment just to check on any waiting time.
