If i could give this place a zero i would.
i went there to have my legs waxed along with a friend. was asked to wait for about 20 mins by the lady behind the counter, the the 20 mins stretched to about 45 mins and we were still waiting patiently because we didnot have an appointment with them. then the owner of the salon walks down and tells us to come back after a few hours!! this after making us wait for 45 mins! her blase attitude and complete disregard for wasting a customer's time was irritating to say the least. i would advice everyone to avoid this place like the plague, there are several salons in tooting offering a much better service.

Have never been to the salon, only to the threading parlour next door but will not go there again. I had my lip cut by a threadist who was unconcerned. Complained but was told it was not a cut. Got no apology. She then proceeded to thread my lower lip so hard it hurt. Was sloppy and kept missing hairs. When I pointed it out she became cross. If the threading was really cheap I would expect poor service but even then I would not expect such rough treatment. As it is the price has been increased steadily since the place opened. Overall its not worth it and I would not advise anyone to go there.
There are several other salons on the same road which I have been using for about 15 years with no problems.

Great little place. They are good with last minute appointments, are friendly and the the treatments very professional.

I went in to Shilpa's after a recommendation from a friend, saying that their eyebrow threading was very good.
There were about 4 people waiting when I went in but I was out of the shop with my eyebrows perfectly shaped within 5 minutes. The girls in their are very efficient and very talented at finding an eyebrow shape that suits your face.
I decided that I would book a wax to see how that was, as their prices are very reasonable and will be able to tell you the results of that shortly!

I first saw the shop when they were renovated it for the grand opening with signs up stating they'll do 99p eyebrow threading. A friend went and praised them on her facebook page. I went before christmas as i was going on holiday, and i left with a smile on my face because not only are my eyebrows very thick as i take after my dad, but the lady kept them looking thick, but gave them shape and a wicked arch.

As she did one she asked was i happy with how it was shaped so far? and if i wanted more off before doing the other side and she made sure they were completely parrelle on both sides.

I felt like i was given the one-to-one time once i was in the chair and there was no rush to get me out the door until i was completely happy and satisfied with the work that had been done.

Once i was done, i then went to pay and what annoyed me a little was the big signage says 99p outside but the lady who runs it sticks her hand out and says £1 please in an abrupt way and doesn't give you any change.

So for those who expect to pay the 99p only, give her 99p exact or else ask for your change as she technically is falsely advertising. But i would go back, as a matter of a fact i'm going next week as its my friends bithday and we have a planned night out so i want my eyesbrows, nails and legs looking absolutely perfect.

But next time i will have my exact 99p ready in my hand, so for that reason i've given the store a 7 out of 10.
