I have been anxious to go to hairdresser in London but today I decided to go and have a hair cut in Hosh. Staff was polite and informative. I am very glad that I did go. Gülbeyaz ( hairdresser) cut my hair, the way I wanted. I loved it. I recommend you to go. Thank you Gülbeyaz. I will visit you every six weeks.🙏🌹Best wishes.

Absolutely disgusting,, not worth for money. The hair dresser has language barrier who doesn’t pay attention to your needs but decides to play with clients hair in her own fantasy style land. If you complain the staff and management humiliate you and show you the door. I had shoulder length hair with I asked to trim but the hair dresser ended up cutting my hair above my ears line leaving me in tears. Next day when I went back they humiliated me and showed me door.
It was good salon until one year back.
But with new staff will never recommend anyone their services.

This place is not worth the money. Their Hairdressers are not good at all. Very bad experience.

Had agreed on ombre-style blonde bits going through my hair. (My hair before-hand was all brown). The result, as you can see from the photo below, was appalling, especially for the amount of money that I'd paid, and even more-so from a stylist who mentioned having worked in hair salons since the age of 9, and is now in his 40s'.
This is after one wash.

When I returned to ask for it to be rectified, I was met, by the stylist with denial, and with a very hostile attitude, and I was blamed for the outcome.

He then lied about the reality of fixing it by using a toner, likely counting on that fact that I did not know much about toners at the time, and he yet-again disguised the same thing with a blow-dry.

My clothes were destroyed by the negligence of this stylist on the first visit also (see below). Upon bringing this to the attention of the salon later, Management told me I was lying about what I had been wearing, despite many of their employees seeing me there on the day, despite my e-mailing them with photos, (I later sent them a video), and despite CCTV backing all of this up.

The worst experience I have ever had with any hair salon; and in-fact, with any type of business, period.

I am sure that there are decent stylists/people working there, but Ibrahim is not up to the standard.

I was denied a refund. I had paid £160 (including getting my roots done and about 15 seconds of trimming a few stray bits from the ends as I had already cut it the week before). This price also happens to be far above any of the prices for similar on their website. I also had to go and buy box-dye a week later.

I understand that sometimes, things will go wrong when getting any kind of service done. These things ordinarily don't even warrant a review from me.

It is the way in which this 'business' responded afterwards, that is the reason that I have, and will continue, to tell every female that I know in this area, to avoid them.

Professionalism, flexibility, affordability and super friendliness make this place a real sanctuary for me in Wood Green. Some reviewers have made racist comments about the fact that the place is run by Turkish women- well, let me say that it is that very Turkishness that makes it, for me, such an enjoyable experience. Turkish women know how to look after each other and make you feel good and I've walked out of this place with a massive grin on my face, feeling great and satisfied with the treatments and advice. It's brilliant! Well done Hosh.

I went to go get my hair trimed on Friday & asked asked for a trim for the split ends but the hairdresser decided to take chunk off !!! I was holding my self from crying, I sat there looking at the floor in anger and all I can hear is the staff and management gossiping and joking about a client who just left the salon. I couldn't wait to leave, most horrible experience I ever encounted, I wouldn't recommend this place and would never go back!

I live in wood green and have tried hosh a few times for various treatments. I have enjoyed some and was quiet disappointed with other treatments i had. The main thing i would like to mention in this place is too much turkish talkiing, not understanding anything that is being said around me is very annoying and frustrating. Also the card machine they have only works in the morning for some wierd reason. I dont go there anymore but wanted to share my experiece with you. Overall i live close by but go somewhere else for me treatments and hair!! Good luck trying out this place.

i moved to the area a year ago, and was looking for a local salon to get all my treatments done in. I found Hosh and it was the best thing i ever did. Very friendly atmosphere , amazing decor, staff are all so lovely and the treatments are always done to perfection. I have recommended all my friends to go there , definitely the best in Woodgreen.! keep up the good work guys. Love Beverly

I have been here a few times and the staff are rude.
If you are not Turkish go somewhere else.
It seems like a great, friendly place if you are Turkish. If you are not they just ignore you and one of them is just blatantly nasty - looks you up and down etc.
I asked for a glass of water and just got stared at.
This is over several trips not just one and it is disappointing as I was looking for somewhere close to home.
Not a nice experience and I wouldn't go back.

I usually go to Hosh for my manicures, but recently broke an age old tradition of NOT going to the hairdressers and booked in for a complete colour and style overhaul. Marianna is fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful and I always get a lovely Turkish coffee or two! I was very happy with the results and will be returning regularly, which is quite a change for me!

I love the place for their friendliness but most importantly their professionalism. Every time I visit, I feel pampared and I have a good banter with everybody there. Recently had a brazilian hair straightening treatment does get a bit smokey but would recommend it to everybody. Also they do the best and the most thorough brazilan wax i have ever had!

Had a haircut yesterday at Hosh in Wood Green and what a disaster! Was waiting for 30 minutes from my appointment time, not a good first impression.
Was extremely disappointed with the results of my haircut, apart from being way shorter than what I asked for, it was completely antisymmetric, longer bits and shorter bits out of place, and odd square shape at the back, I had to get the scissors and try to fix it myself making the top into fine layers. She was just chopping and chopping and I didn't say anything as I thought "well, she is the professional, what do I know?". In the end I was very upset, in such shock I could not even cry in disbelief. Everyone knows how important hair is to women so young hairstylists should take in consideration and not play Superman doing their own thing. Was very upset, will NOT be coming back and DO NOT recommend to anyone...
