I have been going to Candy Box since it opened and before that Beauty Works which owns Candy Box. This is a great place to get a really good haircut and brilliant bio-sculpture nails. In the past I rarely had a manicure because the ordinary one never lasted more than a few days and I hated the plastic ones which left my real nails like paper. But now they do my nails with biosculpture and they last up to 6 weeks. Kasha does them brilliantly.
The hairdressers are also good, and best of all they are open late in the evening so you can go after work and have your hair and nails done.
Althougth they are understandably getting very busy they always seen to be able to sqeeze me in. This is a real find

I LOVE this place!! I have been searching high and low for a couple of years now for a great place to get my nails done, and this is it.
There are a million nail places all over London right now, but I was seriously thinking that there was nowhere left that actually did your nail by hand- none of this horrible drill business. I hate that huge, thick, fake looking acrylic look, and wanted somewhere a little more refined!
Candy Box is owned by the same people as the very well established Beauty Works just across the road. Candy Box offers nail, hair and make-up treatments in a very cute little salon in the heart of gorgeous Crouch End.
The staff are friendly and very professional, and I get my nails done by Kasha (sorry if that's spelled wrong!) I get Biosculpture manicures, which she does amazingly well. I would recommend this place to anyone who is sick of the cheap and nasty nail places that have popped up everywhere, and who wants beautiful looking nails!
