I have been going to Figurehead and then Motcomb Green for tens of years and my loyalty to Brian, Francis and their team is total*.
As far as I am concerned this is the best hairdressing experience in London - and the cutting ain't half bad either!
The staff are simply lovely and it is noticable that even new staff immediately absorb the atmosphere of what feels to this customer at least, as being akin to a really pleasant family business.
Another plus point is that despite the huge rents in the area one doesn't feel gouged by their pricing.
All in all a totally pleasurable experience.
Magic!
* I once had to have a haircut in the States, bad mistake!
