I first went to MDM Hair on a Groupon voucher a few years ago and will not go anywhere else to have my hair done. Mark has been my stylist every time and he is the nicest bloke and always has great, modern ideas about how I can improve the look of my hair. He is very attentive, never pushy and does a fantastic job. I can highly recommend this salon.

I have been to MDM for several years now after a recommendation from a friend - two friends in fact. This is the place to go if you want a very professional cut. Mark the owner is seriously talented and I have never been disappointed. Also very reasonable prices.

I am writing with my experience a of MDM hair, Earlsfield.
I am of mixed race origin and my hairs extremly curly and can be very difficult to deal with, after more than 30 years of trying to manage it with various different products & hairdressers (that dont have a clue of how to manage my hair), I have finally found a salon that I can trust, can look after and maintain my hair!

I left the shop feeling exhilarated and content with the excellent service I received, the owner of the shop took time to understand my hair, my personal needs and expectations and didn’t rush me, or try and do what HE felt was right, but listened to ME....
If you are in a similar position, and are finding it hard to locate a European saloon that understands mixed race/European hair, LOOK NO FURTHER, than MDM hair.
I will be returning to the salon and can feel content that I need look no further for another one....

I rarely write reviews on things as I never find the time but after the exceptional service I received at MDMHair I felt as if I had to... to start off with I had previously had an awful hair cut at another hairdressers so was rather reluctant to go to a hairdressers again and was very close to getting a friend to do it for me, but after a chat with a girl at work had recommended this place I decided to give it a try. The customer service was absolutely wonderful staff were very polite and helpful which was very reassuring although this was a business it seemed like a family as they all worked well which made me feel very welcome. The hair cut and colour I received was beautiful which was an absolute relief for me I have recommended this place to all my friends and I rebooked myself for a trim and roots done in two weeks. So thank you very much guys!!! They also make a fab cupper :)

My partner bought me a voucher for a trial at MDM in February 2011. I'd been going to another salon but wanted to try somewhere new. What a find this place is! The welcome I received and the professionalism of the staff is outstanding. Everyone from the manager to the girl washing my hair were so attentive ensuring that I had the complete experience. I wasn't sure about which colours to have but they talked me through my options and listened to what I wanted instead of trying to persuade me to have what they wanted which had been my previous experience at my old salon.

I can't recommend this place enough. I have never really enjoyed going to the hairdressers but I certainly did here and have not only re-booked but but bought my mum and daughter a voucher so that they can have the same experience I have.

I've been going to MDM in Earlsfield for a couple of years and they do a great job with my hair. Really good colours and blow drying, and the manager always listens to want you want as well as making suggestions. Very friendly salon - recommend it to anyone.

I have just visited MDM Hair for the first time after buying a voucher from KGB deals and before going I read the poor review someone has left. Obviously I was therefore a bit nervous about what to expect, however the service & end result I received could not have been further from poor so I felt I HAD to leave my own comments. I was welcomed into the salon & received a professional consultation, followed by offers of tea/coffee & magazines. I was un-sure of the colours to go for, having been from dark to light and back somewhere in between over recent years. The girl called her colleague and together they talked me thru some options and offered advise. The end result was perfect & beautifully applied. The cut and blow dry were then carried out by a man who also made me feel completely at ease and left me with a great new hairstyle. To get all of this for £29 was absolutely amazing and if I could get exactly the same service, cut & colour again I would go back and pay far more.

My wife purchased a voucher for a trial at MDM in February 2011. She has been going to Rush for many years but through a deal with KGB deals that MDM had put up, she could get a cut, blow dry, finish and half head of highlights for just under 30 GBP. Clearly a tempting offer to try a new salon.
Having visited Rush on route to ask them what colors that they usually used for her highlights she went onto her visit to MDM. What followed was possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever heard of: When discussing what highlight colors she would like, she was informed that it was bleaching only... (not highlights...) even though this was mentioned anywhere in the voucher T&C's. No matter how many times she reasoned with the particular assistant in the salon, she would not get the manager to discuss the offer and repeatedly accused my wife of lying, shouted across the salon to other members of staff and came out with a fantastic line in front of the whole salon "why would you book a hair cut for 30 pounds, what do you expect to get"!!!??? What my wife didn't expect to get was a rude, aggressive, unintelligent member of the staff with no idea what the purpose of an offer is: to try and temp you to try a new salon. Needless to say the offer did not do that. This whole episode when on for over 20 minutes with my wife left in tears. My wife left and booked back in with a great salon in St.Margarets and happily paid full price to have her hair cut and colored by people who have a much better idea of customer service. We had a full refund from KGB Deals who the salon had put the offer through, they also could not believe what had happened. I cannot stress strongly enough that you should never step foot inside this salon. That is unless you would like to be shouted at, called a liar and left disappointed by a staff that frankly should not be allowed to speak with customers. Avoid this salon at all cost!!!
