A Place In Space

It's a good shop, with plenty of stock, but it's shut for most of the week!
It's as if the 'closed Wednesday afternoons and all day Sunday' approach of the 70s and early 80s has found a new home at A Place in Space.
I wonder if the shop's location, out on an obscure and Godforsaken tract of rundown housing and ring-road on the arse end of Croydon, which is a dump anyway, necessitates the need to roll the shutters for a number of days a week to dissuade the local knuckle-dragging troglodytes from trudging there?!!

I only use A Place In Space via eBay, as I live in Wigan, but I've never had a problem with them. Fantastic service, good selection and brilliant prices. Definitely recommend!

They are the best!! Friendly and competent staff! I can only recommend this store! They have a huge stock and most importantly they always have lots of variants, even the rare ones (and this is really cool, at least for me that I love variant covers).

Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff in here! I wish I had started using them sooner, ridiculous amounts in stock from all kinds of generations, albeit I'm still relatively new to comics, out of the 4 shops I've been too and these guys just tip the scales on quality and price, a huge bonus is that a lot of their older comics are sealed and some also have boards to stop them from bending/creasing at no extra cost! Wish i could type up a great example of fantastic customer service but not enough characters! Highly recommend these guys!

Iv only just started using this store but I have to say that the staff are a lot more friendly than you get in other local comic book stores. They also have a massive variety. Managed to fill so many holes in my collection on the first day. I will definitely be back to give them my business.

Go here about once a week, they have one shop for graphic novels and merch and then across the road a huge selection of back issues, cheapest I've seen in a shop. Never had any problems with service myself

Been buying comics for around 15 years now and have to admit I would never use this place again. Rude and petty individuals. Avoid and only use as a last resort.

A great place for the comic enthusiast and a newbie alike. The staff are very friendly and courteous and really seem to know their stuff.

The only negative I would say, is that some of their graphic novel titles seem to take a while to be restocked when they run dry, but when they come in you get a really good deal.
