A truly family friendly eatery opening next month on Dalston Square, London where children are as important as the food. The organic, locally sourced menu cooked under the watchful eye of our award-winning head chef focuses on great quality, seasonal dishes which cater better than anywhere else to food intolerances. Offering entertainment in various forms for children from birth to 10, we have 3 innovative play areas with the natural world and science as its inspiration and featuring anything from experiments with ice to paper weaving and giant art displays to project on the walls + The Den for structured activity classes.

At first glance, I was unsure, as the place is very child friendly, and it was just me and my business partner. After enquiring within, we were welcomed, and the extremely friendly staff (especially the French waiter!) were all excellent. The food was far above expectations, and the price was excellent value. Overall, surprised and happy!

Popped into the Pantry on its first day of trading. What a relief. Somewhere I could let my baby crawl around and entertain himself while I could have a proper chat with friends. Lovely food too. Def going back.

We enjoyed a morning at Nancy's Pantry recently - what a fab concept, please open one in South London! The food was tasty and reasonably priced, which was a nice surprise. This isn't just a café with a play area - we were also pleasantly surprised to find that there's interactive play on offer: kids get to join in activities led by friendly staff, from storytelling to experiments. There's also a nice space for younger children. We got to enjoy good coffee and lunch whilst they were entertained - what a nice change!

Just had a wonderful lunch with 3 babies at Nancy's pantry. Lovely food for baby and adults. Nice, spacious environment for children to explore with lots of fun activities and surprisingly relaxing for parents. Thoroughly enjoyed it and came away feeling calm, refreshed, nourished and with a very happy baby! I am SO happy this has opened around the corner.

I know it was the first day the place opened but the service was dire. 45 mins for a very simple food order and when it finally arrived (not all at the same time either) two parts or the order were missing. Food bland. Great space for the kids. Will return cos kids loved the action but we'll only go for a coffee not the food. Shame cos great concept.

So sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. It was indeed our first day and although most customers and their children seemed to thoroughly enjoy their visit, there were a couple of instances where food orders were inaccurate and delayed. We would very much like you to come and visit again so we can prove to you that this was simply a teething problem which we have since rectified. Many thanks.
