I was really pleased with the experience here. They are very polite and they do a really thorough and professional job. I felt they knew exactly what they were doing and really cared about the service and the end result. A full manicure cost £10 and i gave them a very well deserved tip.  After being recommended by a few friends to come to Glamour Nails, I decided to give them a try. Although my first visit was during a weekday, the place appears rather busy compared to other shops around. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The staffs were very friendly, polite and enthusiatic. The actual treatment (pedicure) was carried out very thoroughly, especially with the cuticles and dried skin unlike many other places where I have been to, where they merely touch the skin. Furthermore, the polish on my toe nails has lasted very well until now and it has been 4 weeks! I was very happy with the result and could easily understand why they are so very busy all the time. |

I have used Glamour nails before and the experience has been OK (its quite local to me) but the last time I went was a very bad experience. I asked for a manicure and pedicure, and during my pedicure, the dry skin on my heels was opened up, which was, and still is 3 days later, a really painful experience. The girl who was doing my pedicure was sloppy, and yawning, and didnt seem to care as she was hacking at my heels. For a manicure and pedicure of that standard, I think £30 is a lot. I work locally so get a discount, but they didnt believe me and were quite rude, so I had to pay full cost, and bring my bsuiness card in the next day. I will be telling my collegues not to bother going, and I would suggest that other people find somewhere else, the non-friendly service from all the staff just tops off the bad experience. |
