I went to have a route canal from this dentist through NHS, but unfortunatelly you can only have silver fillings from NHS so I had to pay the private price. My old route canals with my dentist usually took45 mins and I had to go to dentist twice, but this lady managed to do it in only 15 mins. 2 weeks later I went back to her due to aching-blooding of the same tooth. She realised that she did not do it properly so she re-filled my tooth. It has been two months now afer this treatment and I am in pain again. I am going to refund my money back and see another dentist tomorrow.

Just to confirm what the previous poster said - there are two dentists in the building, they seem to be completely separate practices. The one I go to is Dr Nick Law, not the female dentist. He is fantastic. I am scared of dentists and he has been so kind and patient, and his work so good, I won't go anywhere else even though its really inconvenient for me to get there now. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been going to see Nick Law for the past 8 years and would agree with the positive review below. He has an excellent manner and spends as much time as you need to discuss things - you never feel rushed. The work is also of good quality - I've had several old filings replaced by him and have had no trouble with any.

For the cynic below, you may want to note that whilst Nick Law of the positive reviews is male, the subject of the negative review is female - they are two different dentists!

For a business that had no reviews it does seem odd that as soon as there is one negative review another extremely positive crops up the very next day. Do the math.

Had a check up with Nick Law.He spent about 20 mins- very thorough, friendly attitude . Seemed to genuinely care ,even spent time on advice about preventing problems.Best of all only cost £16.50. Recommend highly - even made me laugh - thats a first!

Based on my experience, you would only go to Dentessentials to waste your time, money and damage your teeth. This was what it turns out I did by going there. Who ever thought get a filling was a simple procedure? not at Dentessentials they're not. You get fillings done shoddily and they didn't even last as long as a week. It's almost like they destroy your teeth only so you can come back for more damage. The dentsit's bedside manner was non-existent. I went in twice to ask/complain about the discomfort and odd structure of the filling only to get a rough check up. I was completely surprised to hear the lady almost screaming at me that it was fine. I think she confuses being a dentist with being a grandmother as she attempted to lecture me and in turn force her second rate opinion down my throat. I'm no dentist but I wonder how can everything be fine when a filling starts to fall apart after a week! The so called treatment I got served a sole purpose to cause me discomfort I was not feeling prior to visiting this sub standard practice. I most definitely not recommend Dentessentials to anyone. Unless they have wronged me in some way.
