DON'T CALL PIMLICO PLUMBERS!
It's not the first time I have felt cheated by this horrible company, shame on me!

They came in and did nothing, asking for £120. Then they gave me an outrageous quote to repair the problem the following day, the kind of quote they give you when they don't want to come back to do the job.

I've tried to complain this time; the other times, I didn't. Instead, they threatened to pass my invoice to a collections agency; I didn't even mention not paying the invoice.

Trust me, no matter how desperate you are, remember to avoid this disgusting company!

I just had a horrible experience with a carpentry job with Pimlico Plumbers. I asked them to fit engineered wood floor and skirting on the ground floor in the kitchen area. The job ended up being 2x as expensive as alternative providers but I needed to do it urgently. As a result, Pimlico Plumbers did such a bad job that I have to redo everything.
Among other issues: the wood was not cut to size so that there are horrible gaps under the door.
The parts of skirting and steps are coming off.
The underlay is sticking out.
There are gaps between the floorboards.
There are gaps between floor and skirting.

Of course I submitted a complaint and now they claim that I don’t have any guarantee on the job (not sure how it is legally possible) and that as a gesture of good will the same engineer who did such a horrible job will come to fix some bits. I wonder who is going to pay for the damaged floor boards.
It just looked so incompetent but my main hope was that Pimlico Plumbers is a reputable company who will do a good job and will fix a problem. Apparently I am mistaken.

Maybe good for a small job, horrible for anything else. Terrible customer service.

Of course will be taking further legal steps.

Workers cut materials outside on the road which is very dangerous and then refuse to stop when asked

I would not hire them ever

Pimlico Plumbers charges £120/hr, one would expect extraordinary service for such rates.
I having spent approximately £1000 for getting two jobs done in the last month, some £800 of which were labor time. The job done was a fairly average, with some delays, a plumber terrorising me about the state of the fixtures and suggesting all needs changing, a screw up which led me to have to call them again to change my mains stop cock.
Having booked this last job two days ago, I am now (14:30) sat at my tenanted flat waiting for the plumber who was supposed to arrive between 9 and 12. And they don’t know if they can get someone here before 4pm. They have offered me 10% off (!) to move my appointment.

very expensive plumbers and very good plumbers. When you have had bad plumbers you will know what I mean.
I had an old gas boiler condemned by British Gas - who gave me a quote without naming the make and model of new boiler ....
Had a cheaper quote then Pimlico -Big mistake !
The cheaper ones took nearly 2 weeks and did a terrible job - explosions in the boiler late on a sunday night - cheap gas installers couldnt come out sun night.
Called in Pimlico who fixed it all - wish I had picked them to install the new boiler and water tank.
Most professional.Smart. Reliable.
