Disgusting service.
I have been registered with this practice for years and there are nice people as well.
Most of the receptionist answer bored and are unhelpful after you wait in a que for at least 30 minutes.
I had today an appointment for my son’s 16 weeks immunisation. Dr was late for 25 minutes and I was told she is with a patient, although I was in the Hallway and I could see that she is just chit chatting with another member of the staff in her office.
She came out in a rush after 25minutes took my red book and asked me to come in.
She started rushing me although it was her fault for being late and argued with me to keep my child on his back. No reason to hold him like this if it annoys him. Previous 2 vaccinations, the nurse let him sit on his bum on my tummy and there was no issue. He didn’t even cry.
Now she insisted on holding him on his back although he was in distress before the vaccin. She pushed the needle very hard, without desinfecting the leg prior to the neddle and just gave me a cotton bun from the desk to hold on his leg while she took the tape sticked to her desk.
This materials should be sterile especially in pandemic, not lying and sticked to a dirty desk before touching them to a childs wound.
At the end, she actually told me to leave as she is in a rush and gave no advice whatsoever if he will have fever or not.
Disgusted of the service received. This type of people should be banned from working with the public, especially with children.
Horrified.
