I saw the doctir today and he is very unhelpful and rude. He acts as if he doesn't have time for you. This is why the NHS gets such a bad press. I changed to this surgery because it was the cheapest in terms of travel vaccinations. The nurse and receptionist are very helpful, and recommended. But I'm changing back to the Courtyard surgery because of my experience with the doctor. Their doctors actually appear to want to help you.

I have had a bad experience with this medical practice too. Like the previous post, the doctor did not close the door or even say good morning, just looked at me with raised eye brows. I told him about a problem with my toe nail and he did not look at it. I would advise people not to register with this practice.

I regret to say I had a similar experience at this srugery. I joined because it was near to my house and in my first visit I explained I was asthmatic and had a chest infection but had no more inhalers since moving to London. I was made to wait over a week for an appointment. A second time, the doctor didn't even close the door during my appointment, couldn't find my notes so guessed a presecription anyway, asking me very view questions and not checking important things like family health history or blood pressure. I will not be returning and encourage others to look elsewhere.

Remarkably this is a Medical Centre with a very pleasant Receptionist. However that is the only plus. I recently moved to London and this is the nearest Medical Centre to where I live hence I arranged an appointment to be taken on and an appointment with one of the doctors and a new patient appointment with a Nurse. In my first appointment with the doctor I explained I had a concern about a lump; he did not look at it or feel it and advised I come back if it starts hurting. I decided that maybe he felt uncomfortable (surely though doctors are beyond this). I also decided to address it with the nurse. On that appointment I waited in the waiting room for 40 mins as nurse was behind scheduled, which was absolutey fine with me. A man and his young daughter were called in and the Nurse came out and was quite curt with the receptionist as he was obviously taking too long for him to get to the nurse's room. Within two minutes the man was back at reception saying he wished to make a formal complaint against the nurse. He said he didn't expect to be spoken to so rudely. Needless to say I will not return to this surgery. Hope this feedback is helpful to anyone looking for a new surgery. I hope this is not reflective of the general level of service but felt it important to make people aware of my experience.
