Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre

If you’re interested in sailing, canoeing, windsurfing or powerboating this centre in the heart of the Docklands offers courses recognised by the Royal Yachting Association. Adults and children are welcome and various levels are available to suit all degrees of experience, from improvers’ clinics to open sessions for beginners.There are youth clubs running weekly as well as extra sessions during half term and the summer holidays. In addition to the activities already mentioned, they also offer kayaking, and competitive members can take part in boat races. Occasionally there are sailing trips on the Thames as well as other locations away from the centre. People with disabilities are welcome to the centre as there is disabled access as well as specialist activities and groups. There is a bar and canteen on the premises providing refreshments.
