Recently made popular through the news that Prince Harry is somewhat of a regular in the bars and clubs of the area, Fulham and the Kings road offer lively bars and entertainment. This is a great nightspot to go to if you're planning on getting some dancing into the evening. With plenty of clubs to choose from, it probably has one of the widest choices outside central London. Prince Harry was seen leaving Crazy Larry's at 533 Kings Road which has won its reputation for cheesy music and cheap-ish drinks to the extent that people will travel from all London boroughs to go, though others will argue that the formula has got a bit tired. Steer clear of the Embargo club for dancing; its very expensive and has some of the rudest staff in the capital! The Hudson club is a 'cool' choice with trendy music though not too false an atmosphere - it wins our vote!

If dancing is less your thing then there are plenty of hip and happening bars around too. Be careful of your choice though, the area has a bit of a reputation for its 'wannabes' and so some of the bars can be a bit pretentious for our liking. Some good places to go include Rumi right in the middle of the Kings Road or the Front Room at 562 Kings Road. The former is a relaxed cocktail lounge with a dance floor, and the latter a good pub with good food and an outdoor terrace for the warmer times of year.

Another alternative is the 606 Club, an intimate jazz club on Lots Road, Fulham and with performances from top musicians, a winner for any jazz fans in the area.
