Jermyn Street

The area of St. James’s is perhaps best known for bespoke tailoring, member’s clubs and art dealers, and Jermyn Street is the closest thing it gets to a high street. As well as clothing from Hackett, Thomas Pink, Hawes & Curtis and other brands of this ilk, you’ll find cigars and antiques, cheesemongers Paxton & Whitfield, perfumery Floris, and jewellers Links of London among others. Imagine an even wealthier Mayfair and you begin to get the picture, after all Jermyn Street is a stone’s throw away from Buckingham Palace. You’re still more likely to see tourists here than Londoners or aristos however, as the street is also ideally positioned for the amenities of Piccadilly (and for a spot of auction retail at Christie’s on nearby King Street).
