What is with women holding such huge handbags?

There is a topic in this forum branch about reasons why women hold handbags in their elbows. I realized it`s just more comfortable and safe. But every time I see a woman with such huge back I can`t even imagine what`s in that! I have to take my laptop with flashcards and some paper to work often and my case is 2 times less than women`s bags at least.
So, ledies may I ask you what do you usually put in your whale size handbags?

My personal pet peeve are the ones with the stupidly large handbags who, when you come to the turnstyles at an Underground station, press the whole bag against the oyster card reader. When this fails, instead of just taking out the oyster card, they shake their bag and keep trying until it beeps!

LOL people do that at my college when the go through the barriers.
It really gets on my nerves, i cant be bothered to stand there waiting for the card to scan so i just leave it in my pocket and get it out when i need it lol
