My brother, wife & 2 kids are going to london to celebrate the little girl's birthday on Monday 31st July. They are skint and the trains from Reading (where I live) are about £40 each. They'd normally drive to Richmond from their house in Soton, any suggestions if they are leaving from mine and going down the M4?
HELP!!! Confused

Hi Jo,

Welcome to The Knowledge.

There's an NCP car park which isn't too far from the M4 in Ealing. From there you could jump on the tube at Ealing Broadway.

Here's the price list for the car park:

Daily tariffs
2 Hours £ 3.20
2 To 4 Hours £ 5.40
4 To 24 Hours £ 8.50

If you wanted to park anywhere central on a week day you'll pay a lot more than those prices plus you'd have the £8 congestion charge to pay.

You can find the details for the car park on the NCP website, if you use the map on the site the M4 is just south of the car park:

Hope that's of some use.
