Where do you think we should live in London?

So, we're moving to London in a month. We want somewhere with it all: green spaces, a few nice pubs / bars / restaurants, a town / village centre, sense of community and good transport links (particularly to Victoria / St James Park tube). We will rent, then buy a terraced house or similar (c.£500k).

Trying to narrow down the areas... We know the South West and love: Richmond / Kew, Barnes, Putney, Chiswick / Turnham Green. We've had suggested in the South East: Greenwich and Camberwell. Also in the North: West Hampstead and areas around.

Are we missing anything we'd love?

Thanks for your help!!

I love all the areas in the south-west that you mention... should tick all the boxes too. East Dulwich may also be worth considering?

Some pretty expensive places mixed in there, not sure £500k will get you a terraced house.

Still, all of the areas you've mentioned have the elements that you want. Best advice is to have a walk around the areas and see what you think.

I'd recommend Kingston. River, town centre, greenery, community spirit.
