Boris cuts Londoner's Council tax bill by £3.10

Boris is clearly ramping up the campaign against Livingstone with this latest headline grabbing move to cut council tax.

Whilst the amount isn't enough to buy the average Londoner a pint it is quite a significant message to send to the electorate IMO.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? What will you spend your £3.10 on?

yeah, lovely gesture but it will make a huge hole in London's budget but make bugger-all difference in everyone's pockets. it's a bit like when they reduced VAT - cost the country a fortune but didn't actually make a difference to anyone's spending habits.
