I have the tendency to sum everything up, so generally nowadays you have in London:
1. British, European and American film actors/actresses, the Americans usually attending premieres.
2. Some world-famous singers, including Madonna and from time to time Kylie Minogue and Paris Hilton.
3. And one local supermodel - Kate Moss.

Meanwhile, the old England of local avant-garde bands and avant-garde writers/journalists is practically non-existent under this avalanche.

But what has attracted all these foreigners in the recent years? Madonna? England as a safer place than the US? The thriving British economy?
