After I raved about Avenue Q to everyone here, im now going to do the same about Hairspray (I could write a list really!)

Ive seen this show 4 times now and it really is OUTSTANDING! The whole cast are fab and there is so much energy from start to finish. Leanne Jones as Tracy is brilliant as is Michael Ball who is FAB as Edna - seriously funny. Ben Ellis has completely won me over as a brilliant (and i have to admit - very cute!) Link Larkin (I couldn't stand him when he was in 'Any Dream Will Do') and the other cast are equally as good.

The last time I saw it was last week when I day ticketed with a friend (front row of stalls released from 10am for £25 each day) and it was stunning! The view and atmosphere in those seats right from the start is phenomenal.

The first time I went I was sat next to a man who refused to get into the spirit of things, then by the end he was getting up and dancing before everyone else!!

I recommend the show (and especially day ticketing if you get the chance) to everyone!

...sounds great. I saw Avenue Q too and quite liked it but wasn't as keen as some of my friends who went too. I just think its a very distinctive thing and just wasn't my cup of tea. saw dirty dancing on saturday though - that was great. started off a bit doubtful as the acting was a little wooden at times and they tried to follow the film too much but the second half picked up and the last scene was GGGRRREEAATTTTTTTTT....NOBODY puts baby in the corner...oooohhhhh patrick!!!! :hyper:
