A little bit of help please!!!

Im comming down to London in july for arrving on the 11th and going back on the 13th.

Main reason im comming down is to go to an oasis gig at wembley on the 12th.

I know my better half will want to oxford st on the 11th and will want to be close enough to the centre on the 13th too.

Can anyone recommend anywhere to stay so both are in touching distance?

Stopped down canary wharf when i went to the dome but cudnt find any bars at night down there.

Sorry I live in london but haven't stayed in a hotel or anything. How bout getting a tube map and looking at the routes you'll be taking. Wembley's in the north-west and Oxford St st al is easily accessible on the tube or bus. I'd say check out north and northwest places.

Sounds like you want to stay somewhere near the Jubilee line - which goes to bond street (= Oxford Street) and Wembley.

Have a look for somewhere near Marble arch which is at one end of Oxford street so you can walk to the shops, and you're really close to the jubilee line for the gig.

My brother just came to stay and found a really cheap deal through lastminute.com - one where they don't tell you the name of the hotel until you've paid because the best hotels don't want people to know how cheap they're giving their rooms away for.
