I have been to this shop to pick up some 'modak' for Ganpati festival. Each 'modak' was about 80 grams, which to me is a bit heavy. Usually 5 pieces, 7 pieces or something similar is a minimum buy, this means one would end up buying at least 400 to 500 grams ( For me this is significant since we make offering of sweets to God everyday of the festival period). This were priced at £11 per kilo and the quality was really sub standard. In my opinion they were worth £5.5 per kilo. Specially when the 'anjir burfi' was also £11 per kilo. I felt cheated, its just a money making stunt. They had no 'modak' making competitor around so they have use this opportunity to fullest. I am not going there again.
