I tell you what, as a tourist to the London area, I sure as hell felt at home when I entered this pub. I didn't know what to expect when I pulled up a stool and sat by the bar but as I made my way through the draft beers and ales, I gained quite a few friends along the way. With selfridges just across the way it's the perfect place to dump the mrs and kids for shop, so you can get down to what you really came to London to do.. Have a pint or 12! Good on ya poms! Doing it right

Went to this lovely pub after a long day of shopping down oxford st, the first time I stumbled across it, it was by accident but the next 100 times I visited it was surely on purpose. From the massive portions of food to the friendly staff from all over the world id recommend the Henry Holland to every man and his neighbour. 10/10

Absolutely horrendous customer service and terrible food. Was informed it was impossible to swap a portion of fries for a salad with one of the main courses, were completely out of half of the menu, and believed that an £8 Ploughmans lunch should merely consist of a bread role and slab of cheese. Horrendously overpriced food, terrible customer service, AVOID.

My sister and i stayed in London early December 2012 overnight and stumbled on this pub, the staff AND the landlord were very friendly towards us and although they don't serve food at teatime they switched their ovens & fryers on to make us some food which was very good. You don't get that kind of service in many pubs these days so don't be put off by other reviews, it was a great evening in a very welcoming pub. Many thanks to all the staff, keep up the good work.

A traditional English pub; pleasant staff, very delicious food, fine ales and cold beer! you couldn't ask for more, its a great retreat from Oxford St. I recommend this pub! also the first comment is effectively void, as its obvious actual paying customers are preferred over liotering, it is a pub!

Occasionally competent staff who work under a miserable landlord who seems to think customers are a nuisance and is not unprepared to tell you to f**k off if you make a reasonable complaint or call him on his rude manner.
Food is passable but overpriced, even for the area and questionable music. In all there are nicer places to drink in the local vicinity thus it's convenience of being near Bond street means the possibility of an extra 20 seconds walk is worthwhile to avoid the experience of the Holland.

The previous comment is a very poor misrepresentation of a brilliant old english pub. The Henry Holland offers a perfect retreat and delicious food, far from the busy manic streets crowed with shoppers, without coming entirely off the beaten track. The customer service is by no means rude or lacking communication skills. I have certainly not expiernced or witnessed any such behaviour as a regular, obviously paying customers are more welcome as a general rule in any establishment. In sum this is a place i would definitely recommend.

In the six years that I have live in London, I have never experienced such shocking customer service than I did in this bar. I popped in on Saturday to check on the rugby score whilst a friend was having a goodbye party at the nearby Moose bar. I had been in the bar for two minutes when a man tapped me on the shoulder and in a very poorly communicated way asked if I was buying a beer (I actually thought he was offering me one). I proceeded to tell him that I was fine and did not want one right now. Thereafter he immediately got very confrontational and insisted that I leave the bar straight away. I expressed my irritation and gave him some advice on customer service which was definitely not
