Very poor service. I was there today for "lunch".
But when I was told after good 15 minutes waiting to order, I have to wait long time for food, I order the food only for my little hungry son and I left. The waitress set she do me veeeery very big favor to order his food fast, come on whats this answer??? Never come back again.
Thank you to waitress-girl with dark hair. You "make my day".
I dont understand how she can take people from door, she was very unprofessional.
You have to train your staff how to do them job.

We came to London on 10th March on a quick 2 day visit and found IL Pizzaiolo. What a delight . The Garlic bread was authentic and delicious. My starter of Mushrooms was huge ! Brilliant .! I had King Prawn & chilli Pasta for main course - fantastic !My partner & his son had great meals too - we couldn't fault it . Ive eaten in many Italians - it's my favourite food and wish this Restaurant was near me. Going to have to come down to London again pretty soon I think .

I have been a regular for nearly 4 years and often opt for this restaurant for birthdays and celebrations. Occasionally I have had to wait a little too long for food but the food is worth the wait. The pizza garlic bread is lovely and its prawn cocktail is unrivaled. On the odd occasion where I have not been entirely happy with the food it has been taken from the bill or an alternative is provided. I must admit- I love the wide choice of good food that is on offer - you certainly don't have to stick with the same meal everytime you go there. Highly recommended.

Went here with friends and ordered lunch. Food tasted ok but i ordered risotto for main course it was hard and tasteless couldn't eat one mouthful (and im not a fussy eater). I called the waiter over and said i couldn't eat it it was not cooked well. The waiter snatched my dinner away and disappeared leaving me with no main course or the offer of something else to eat. I sat there while my friends all ate then the waiter came over and said i could have it to take away as i was going to pay for it regardless. His attitude was appalling i was left without food and told to pay for it even though it was inedible. I spoke to the bar staff no one would tell me who the manager was. They ended up taking it of the bill but we paid for everything else £75 not a cheap lunch considering only 2 ate. dont expect politeness if you eat here.

Iam a regular visitor to Il Pizzaiolo . Been going there for the last seven years with my business friends and we always have lunch there.
The food is amazing and great value for money . The servise is excellent and the manager and head waiter and waiters were working there for many years and they know regular customers by name. The cheff has been there for at least the time I know this restaurant ie seven years. No other restarant can make Pizza or Garlic Bread like Il Pizzaiolo and I can challange that. The pasta all prepared daily and the Salads and the sea bass fish is mouth watering. No hidden or service charge added to the bills and that not normal for a mayfair restaurant.
This Restaurant is very busy and you will be lucky to find a place so I advice you to book especially during lunch time.

We ate at the restaurant on a busy, hot saturday afternoon - it was packed, with people starting to que. We found the food to excellent, the service was swift, despite the number of diners and the staff we courteous and friendly. Based on our experience we will be back

I write in response to your amazing retort to a fair opinion.
As a Catering and Hospitality professional and close friend of Miss O'Shea I am stunned by your childish and unprofessional response!
Waiting over an hour and a half in any restaurant is totally unacceptable and 'its busy , what do you expect' is simply not an adequate explanation. The cost of the meal is immaterial and should not decide the level of service delivered!
As a busy restaurant you should be able to cope with the bookings you take.
What you do not seem to have considered in your knee jerk reaction is the fact that the party in question work for a local blue chip company in an office of over 300 people so whils

DO NOT EAT HERE!
The standard of the food at this restaurant was very poor and also badly let down by the poor service. Our table ordered a main course (one for each of us which was 9 in total) which did not arrive until one hour and 15 minutes after we had placed our order. Upon the arrival of our food, many of us were not impressed (cold food, etc) which lead to a complaint to the manager who obviously could not handle any type of complaint as he told us in no uncertain terms to get out and that we were not welcome - AFTER we had paid the bill!

Good food but the service is terrible. We waited over an hour for our food and when we complained to the manager he basically told us if you don't like it then eat somewhere else - in future I will!
Have your say
