The big brother of Clerkenwell's Cafe Kick, this is the biggest table football bar in Europe, boasting eight tables, four on each floor, and attracting enthusiasts from all over the world.
It's retro heaven with 1950s bar furniture and artefacts, original French Bonzini football tables, pictures and football memorabilia. Flags of all nations are suspended over Formica furniture and battered leather sofas, creating a colourful and friendly atmosphere. A wonderfully eclectic selection of music adds to the good-natured continental atmosphere.
The bar boasts a carefully-chosen list of Old World wines, a fine selection of imported beers, and superb cocktails - Mojitos and caipirinhas are signature favourites. The lovingly-created menu offers salads, soups, sandwiches, sharing platters and daily specials with the same international flavour.
The space downstairs, as well as hosting regular football tournaments, also hosts cabaret, comedy, theatre and film screenings. Table football at Kick is not a theme, but a genuine passion. Whilst the game is taken very seriously, beginners are welcome, and fun is guaranteed.

good choice when you crave football but want more than a dingy pub to watch it in
This is also Shoreditch High Street's premier table football venue, which isn't saying much unless perhaps there was a bar next door exclusively dedicated to the table sport, in which case this would probably still be better. Probably. Atmosphere for big league matches, World Cups, European Championships etc is crazy and it's standing room only unless you set up early.
Going back to the international thing, the clientele’s made up largely of southern Europeans and South Americans and that helps to dilute the increasingly ever present Shoreditch stag dos and keep it friendly and relaxed, if a little frenzied at times (in a good way).
Some people might know it just for the sport but the mixture of music from the DJs packs out Friday nights and its tiny dining area serves 'Kick Classics' like potato gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella and a daily specials list that's a menu in itself. One problem for some might be the lack of draught beer, which means no pints, instead there's a big range of imported beers, including Desperados, Super Bock and Vedett as well as cocktails.
Kick is a good choice when you crave the football but need a little more than a dingy pub to watch it in.

Best For
Best bars to watch the game
Here's our list of London's best pubs and bars in which to watch the footie...
Bar Kick has been the choice of international football fans for years and that does not appear to be about to change anytime soon. A winning recipe of good food, world beer, foosball tables and a large number of screens is all it seems to take to inspire multicultural crowd.
Beer on a budget: London's best cheap bars
Nursing that half pint all night can be a thing of the past.
Happy hour everyday between 4pm and 7pm means that if you time your trip right Café Kick is one of the best places in Shoreditch to get a cheap drink. At just £2 for a bottle of house lager (often Quilmes) it’s a deal in this part of town.
Meet someone special at London's top singles bars
Get your glad-rags, douse yourself in smellies and prepare to engage...
Bar Kick is another venue that hosts dedicated singles events to woo the punters. With table football as an added gimmick, and there to smooth over any awkward silences, it should be a winner every time.

Loads of world beers and a killer chorizo sandwich. The only issue is the lack of draught. However, the massive new TV screen in the middle of the wall is awesome and makes up for that. Digital picture quality that comes close to the size of the projectors you find in sports pubs. If you like a pint then go for the 500ml Super Bock.
