The College of North West London is a large college of further and higher education based in the London Borough of Brent. It has nearly 14000 students studying on over 300 full-time and part-time courses, delivering vocational and academic skills aimed at improving the
employment opportunities for individuals and to support businesses. HE courses include HNDs, Foundation degrees and post-graduate teacher training programmes.

The College has three campuses located at Willesden (Dollis Hill tube), Kilburn and Wembley Park (overlooking Wembley Stadium), with purpose-built workshops and facilities. These include a new state-of-the-art Technology block at Willesden and an award-winning environmentally-friendly building at Kilburn with solar features. All centres are close to bus and tube stops.

The Willesden Centre boasts a prestigious School of the Arts, achieving special success in art & design, media, photography and performing arts. From September 2009 it will offer a Creative Arts & Media Diploma. The Wembley Park Centre has its own award-winning hair and beauty salons, and an award-winning training restaurant for catering students – all open to the public on certain days in termtime.

The predecessor of CNWL was Kilburn Polytechnic founded in 1895. In the 1930s Willesden Technical College was established, specialising in construction, engineering, automotive and allied subjects. Eventually, the two centres merged in 1992 to form the College of North West London and soon added a campus at Wembley Park.
