Local toy superstore to put on family extravaganza to celebrate 3rd anniversary

Smyths Toys Superstore in Beckton is to thank its customers for three years of support with a free family fun day during half term.
The event, which takes place between 10am and 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday - May 29th, will see visitors to the store being entertained by clowns whilst taking part in a host of activities including face painting and in-store competitions. The management will even be laying on refreshments for all who attend! There will also be some familiar faces popping in throughout the day including Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder in the morning and Sonic the Hedgehog and Sorrell Cottontail throughout the day!

Amir Hussain, manager of the store, which is located in Gallions Reach Shopping Park, 3 Armada Way, Beckton, commented: “Smyths Toys Superstores is expanding in the UK and Beckton was one of the first to open. The store has been really successful and our family fun day is a way of giving something back to our customers for their continued support. There is a host of fun activities planned and it will be a fun day for all the family. ”
