This collaboration between The Roof Gardens and Jazz FM is all about celebrating the very best in both new and established talent in the music industry. Music enthusiasts across London can enjoy intimate performances from acts including the following:

Saturday 9th October – Leslie Phillips Soul Trip
One of the most exciting voices to come out of the Paris Soul Afro-Beat jazz scene, Leslie has made many TV and radio appearances in France, performing regularly at top Paris nightspot ‘The Bizz’Art Club’. Her mesmerizing voice can be aligned to a mixture of Erika Badu and Lauryn Hill.

Saturday 16th October – The Jay Phelps Quartet
Trumpeter Jay Phelps is at the forefront of young jazz musicians in the UK and has performed and recorded with a veritable who’s who of UK and international jazz artists including Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum and Ray Brown.

Saturday 23rd October – United Vibrations
Inspired by everything from Drum ‘n’ Bass and Hip-Hop to Rock and Afro-Beat sounds, United Reverberations (UV) are re-establishing the ‘live’ element to urban dance music in the UK. Sax, trombone, bass, drums and vocals combine to produce cosmic lyrics and hypnotic grooves.

Saturday 30th October – Groove Razors
A fusion quintet founded in London, Groove Razors’ creative and experienced musicians have a rich background in worldwide performances and collaborations with the jazz greats. Their music is full of emotion, high energy, with a groove funk based undertone
