Covid 19 Information
Welcome back to the bar… We are looking forward to welcoming all our customers back as we make a step closer to normality. However, our number one priority remains the welfare of our community and our team as we take these first steps together. – We are asking customers to respect people’s spaces while talking around the pub and using communal facilities – Asking customers to let one of our team members know if they have any safety questions or concerns during their visit – To utilise contactless payment methods where available – card instead of cash, contactless, app where possible – Maintain their own personal hygiene to protect everyone – We will be mask friendly – meaning if customers or team members would like to wear a mask they can feel free to

We're so excited to welcome you back to The Prince Bonaparte after our magnificent refurbishment. On entering the bar area, you are enveloped with lavish leathers and deep timbers. This warm and inviting space is matched with the same level of hospitality. The bar counter has been reworked to invite guests to sit and drink or eat, creating a buzz throughout. An extension of the bar in feel, the dining side of the venue will follow through in style and atmosphere. The bar counter will flow into the open kitchen where high-end food is served to diners perched at the counter or sat for longer periods of time in our comfy booths. Our focus is around fire. We have stepped up the mark and our new concept lies around smoking, grilling and charring. Whether that be an aged Picanha steak, seared scallops or grilled seasonal vegetables, 99% of the menu will touch the hot coals before the plate. In order to gain significant flavour and colour we use a Josper Grill and Bertha ovens, both high-end pieces of kit running on charcoal and lots of it. The element of fire contrasts evenly across the menu through to desserts and cocktails. I guess for now it's time to sit back and wait for the doors to open. You're all invited to our reopening night on Thursday the 19th August and we cannot wait to show you what we have been up to! Here at The Prince Bonaparte our chefs are passionate about seasonal and sustainable produce in all elements of the menu. From large cuts of meat to whole turbot specials and seasonal sharing plates, this menu is made for all. We take pride in the quality of our dishes and use some of the best suppliers in the business. The Bonaparte is the heart of the community and that will never change. Whether it’s a drink with friends or an evening meal for two we will always give the warmest friendliest welcome. Our passion is you and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
