Great shop! Extremely friendly,knowledgeable staff who really take the time to give the customer all the advice and help they need.
This local family run business have been doing it well for 37 years now - a hidden gem in London and long may they continue to keep our music rockin' !

I have used MCQ for over 10 years and in that period have found them to be genuinely knowledgeable about the products and services offered. I have had the pleasure of purchasing goods from and having goods serviced by MCQ.

MCQ is packed – literally to the proverbial rafters – with nearly everything a DJ, budding DJ, audiophile, recording studio, singer, musician, sound engineer etc. would need.
I have never been unable to find a product for my needs except of course if was looking for a specific brand which they do not stock but could order. I have made of their exceptional ordering service quite a few times with great satisfaction. Their personal touch type of customer service is much missing in today’s world.

They are a humorous bunch to deal with and you can’t help but feel the vibe of the store – you’re immediately at ease and the experience is as though you were at home chatting with an old friend about mics, speakers and cables, or about cassette decks and turntables (does anyone use them these days?), CD players, headphones and other accessories or indeed about current issues, life and the universe! It makes no real difference what the subject is, you’ll always find the folks at MCQ an easy-going bunch full of light-heartedness yet serious about their business.

Being located right on the main road (Walworth Road) is useful as it allows for ease of finding the store but having said that there is no parking on the main road so one has to find parking on the nearest side streets. Should you need to stock up your larder, a Tesco Metro is literally 2 minutes away or if you need to post a letter or package as part of your trip to MCQ, the Post Office is again 2 minutes away. Also close by is the Police Station and a McDonalds! ;)

In summary, MCQ is the place you want to visit to buy your entertainment equipment. You leave there with your requirements met and your spirits lifted/refreshed!
