Chef Manoj Vasaikar worked for the Taj and Oberoi groups in India, undoubtedly the two most prestigious restaurant groups in the country, who forged the careers of many great chefs. Dishes are inventive, mixing regional flavours with ingredients from around the world, in some cases just experimenting with new combinations like the tandoori artichoke and paneer, and bananaflower dumplings. There’s hardly a curry in sight.
Great care has gone in to the wine list, ensuring the available varieties match the food. There is the odd surprise too, like a Sauvignon Blanc from India.

Really good food and a very different menu with a lot of focus on West indian recipes. Servcie was good but they were very busy and hence a little unattentive at times. The decor is simple, yet warm and makes it a nice little place to visit. My only complain was that the portions are really small. There were 4 of us and we ordered 4 mains and 2 sides, but could have done with 2 more mains!
otherwise very nice place.

Although the atmosphere was a little lacking (we three were the only people eating all lunchtime) the food was excellent and the value very good - £15 for a three-course set lunch with plenty of choice. The portions were fine and beautifully presented. The service was OK. If I were passing again at luchtime, I'd certainly call in.

Food overall good quality, tasty and well presented but OH! what miniscule portions.
Why? It leaves an impression of mean-ness and money grabbing - out of touch with the times..
Would I go back? Yes, but one has to order double the number of dishes one would expect to.
Expensive for the food and the area.
