Goldsmiths Debuts at Red Bull Studios

Red Bull Studio opens up their space to Goldsmiths Students for the fourth and final ‘debuts’ exhibition: Embodiment
Embodiment, launching on Thursday 3rd May, is the fourth and final exhibition taking place in the Red Bull Studio as part of the Debuts series. The project enabled Goldsmith students a chance to exhibit work in the run up to their degree show in June.
The collaboration started at the beginning of the year between Red Bull and Goldsmiths’ students, with the idea of preparing the students for their first exhibition by offering them an empty space to make their own. The Fine Art students approached Red Bull last year with the idea of using the Red Bull Studio for a one off exhibition. This idea was developed into a four part series, with each show open to the public preparing them for their future art careers.
Embodiment encompasses the embrace of anything, the realisation of something and the physicality of ideas. The artists of Embodiment encompass a wide range of themes, yet each embodies their work with the physicality of them. The exhibition embraces all aspects and brings them to the foreground; making them tangible to all and allowing the viewer to experience something new.
