Laid-back and cool, this east London drinking and dancing venue is just the ticket for some low key R&R.
It describes itself as a tropical bar, cafe and events space, located in the heart of Dalston and the middle of Ridley Road Market. Ridley Road Market Bar serves Red Stripe, cocktails and coffee till late. It also boasts that it is home to some of London's finest street food (which you can pick up directly outside from the variety of vendors that are permanently pitched there).

All In London Review
Ridley Road Market Bar
The Market Bar has gradually ebbed its way into London’s collective consciousness as the Hippest New Bar to drink in, and you can see why. Serving nothing but cans of Red Stripe and a meager collection of whisky and tequila based cocktails; simplicity is clearly the key here.
With a faintly tropicalia theme evident in its plastic flowers and hula girl décor, it is something different. Originally a café, serving up artisanal street food on the pavement outside (which it still does), it has since got hold of a liquor license, which has turned it into one of the finest night owls in Dalston.
There’s a refreshing lack of pretense in the people who can’t get enough of the faintly ironic tunes that come from the DJ’s at the back. But is it really ironic if the music makes you dance this hard? Is it really a crime to rap every word to Regulate? And when was the last time you heard a bar end the night with a crude bunch of kids chanting ‘whoop… there it is, whoop… there it is’? Exactly. This is good, clean fun and now you know where to go the next time you find yourself aimlessly wandering in Dalston.

Nursing that half pint all night can be a thing of the past.
The Ridley Road Market Bar has a very specific premise that keeps its drinks cheap - they just serve it from the can. Red Stripe at £2.50 a can means you’re paying the equivalent of less than £3.00 a pint and all the while you’re in one of the liveliest bars in Dalston. Perfect.
