Unleash the inner animal and delight in the sights and sounds of nature while embarking on an exciting new 10k charity run in the heart of ZSL London Zoo this September.

The route will take runners past some of the world’s most amazing animals, including western lowland gorillas and a mob of meerkats who will no doubt wonder what this unusual herd is doing, before heading out to tackle the wilderness of Regent’s Park – all while raising much needed funds for the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).

Runners can sprint, strut or stomp ZSL London Zoo’s brand new Stampede event, which gives runners a 10k unlike any other in London.

Racegoers will finish by stampeding back through the Zoo past Penguin Beach, where Ricky the Rockhopper will be on hand to see them over the finishing line. Each runner will then be able to enjoy the rest of the day in the Zoo at a more leisurely pace.

By taking part in the 10k run on Sunday 16 September, runners will be helping the charity to carry out its wildlife conservation work in over 50 countries.

Every pound raised through the ZSL London Zoo Stampede will help ZSL to care and conserve some of the most wonderful and endangered animals across the world.
