A celebration of Tea and Coffee will be coming to London's Southbank Centre from 2-4 November.
Organised by Yael Rose, Festival Director for the popular Cheese & Wine, Real Bread and The Chocolate Festivals, The Tea & Coffee Festival will allow visitors to not only shop and learn, but also to speak and interact with some of Britain's best tea and coffee producers, including Choi Time, Tea Pigs, Dark Fluid and Sea Island Coffee.
A series of free tutored tastings, talks and demonstrations will be available in the Tea & Coffee Theatre, coordinated by renowned chef and culinary expert Valentina Harris. Events will include a coffee tastings and roasting demonstrations, an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, as well as cooking demonstrations.
Britain's most renowned tea experts will all take part this year. Visitors can enjoy talks and tutored tastings with: Henrietta Lovell, founder of the award winning Rare Tea Company, tea specialist Jane Pettigrew and Jonathan Jones from the UK's only tea estate, Tregothnan in Cornwall.
Cooking and baking demonstrations include Michelin starred chef Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House who will use tea and coffee in savoury dishes, BBC's Great British Bake Off finalist Miranda Gore Browne and Outsider Tart.
Around 40 stands will offer a variety of teas and coffees, tea and coffee essentials, as well as a collection of freshly made treats that are perfect for teatime - or simply any time.
