At one stage in life many years ago their food was amazing, untill now their food is still amazing but what's the point of having good food when the restaurant isn't ever open on time it's meant to be open at 12:30 everyday. I have been trying to eat there for the past 2 months and have waiting till 2pm and restaurant is still never open, they need to update there opening times or actually open on time!! It's never open the same time it's always different everyday, every week, every month.

There was a time when Jays was one of the best restaurants in the area, but now its just appalling. The Food is ok but the service is terrible. I usually just order for take away as the restaurant décor reminds me of a canteen, how can I enjoy my food in that environment, and also I get to avoid the workers. I called recently at 12:40 to get lunch, however they weren't open because the chef hadn't arrived. Opening time was 12:30. Just shows how the whole restaurant is run really. They lost my custom from now on.

Before I say anything I surely would like to admit !!! Food is excellent..... but I feel the most important selling power of any restaurant is the staff who serve the food. Jays which is located in Kingsbury is certainly serving good food but i think they really need to think about their service which they can and should improve on. And unfortunately I have not seen any changes since last few years. There was a time when Jays was only one restaurant in Kingsbury but now there are four more in its proximity which is a alarming sign!!!

I Have been going regularly to Jays for a couple of months now and I really can't fault it.
They are full vegetarian and have a massive amount of options from South indian, chinese, italian menus. I am quite addicted to their Chilli paneer as starter - i recomend it!
The portions are huge (three dishes are more than enough for two people) and the service is very friendly. I have never seen the restaurant empty and most of the clientelle is asian (which can only be a good sign!)
Jay's really gets my vote!! I recommend it!

We ordered some starters and they were great, but as soon as South Indian dishes were ordered, they were cold and some of the items were stale - I can still remember that horrible sick taste and feel it in my mouth. They even tried to charge us for the stale food and were quite pricy for the service we received. Whatever happened to Jays!!!!
