About London Film Museum:Previously known as The Movieum of London, the London Film Museum is located in County Hall building on the South Bank. The museum offers an incredible amount of things to see and do for all movie-going enthusiasts. You can find out more about the history of film, famous directors and all the iconic actors and actresses. The huge collection of iconic costumes, props, models, production notes, photographs and call sheets (some of them dating back to 1935) and on set stills beautifully illustrate the various genres of film which are being showcased. You’ll find Christopher Reeves Superman tunic from 1978, an original spear from Michael Caine's Zulu, the Joker Costume that Jack Nicholson wore in Batman or the original miniature Moonraker from the James Bond Classic. You can also get some insight into the making of films; Oscar winning directors and actors talk about their personal experiences, from the initial script to the final edit.? Create your very own 30 second movie trailer, add your own sound in the sound studio, control the prosthetic T-Rex head or fly in the clouds in the green screen virtual studio or drive around London in less than a minute in the Movieum Vintage Car. The museum recently opened their latest exhibition, ‘Charlie Chaplin - The Great Londoner’, which covers Chaplin’s early life in Lambeth and features his hat and cane.
