About London Motorcycle Museum:Whether you’re a motorcycle fanatic or just have a passing interest, this is the only London museum devoted to the two-wheeled vehicle. There are around 150 bikes on display which date back to the 19th century, and exhibits clearly explain the history and beginnings of the machines. Museum founder Bill Crosby began collecting bikes in the 1960s. He initially displayed them along vintage cars in Syon Park until the premises closed down; it wasn’t until the late 90s when he found the Greenford site where the bikes are exhibited today. School visits are welcome and the museum is available for private hire; additionally some of the bikes can be loaned for displays at corporate events or parties. As well as browse the collections, the shop sells souvenirs, badges, T-shirts and collector’s magazines. The museum is open at weekends only from 10 am to 4.30 pm, and admission is £5.
