Sugababes Squash Rumours

Sugababes make public announcement

The Sugababes have come under increasing pressure as yet more rumours of disharmony flood into the media. The latest member to join the group, Amelle Berrabah is allegedly considering quitting the band after the other two band mates, Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range said that they wanted her to be removed. Amelle only joined the group in December 2005 as a replacement for the now solo star Mutya Buena.

Amelle recently stated: "I'm 110 per cent committed to the Sugababes. It's a dream come true. I can't wait to perform the new album live." There have been a lot of changes recently with the only remaining original member now being Keisha. Heidi joined in 2001 when she replaced Siobhan Donaghy.

The group denied rumours of a rift with Keisha stating: "Things couldn't be better in the band at the moment. Amelle, Heidi and I are a rock solid team." Heidi also stated: "This is our best album yet and we are all looking forward to getting out there and promoting it."
