Simon Costin's Impossible Catwalk Shows
12 September - 13 December
This exhibition featuring newly commissioned work by set designer Simon Costin, renowned for his work with Tim Walker and Alexander McQueen, will question what catwalk shows could be if the possibilities were limitless.

London Fashion Week
12 - 16 September
London Fashion Week is one of the highest profile fashion events in the world and one of the ‘big four’ international catwalk influencers. It has become a city-wide celebration with shows, presentations, installations, showrooms, events and parties from the best and brightest names in the industry.

Oxford Street Fashion Showcase
12 - 19 September
Oxford Street’s famous suite of household names – including Selfridges, Topshop, River Island, House of Fraser, Miss Selfridge and Gap – will offer shoppers an array of one-off experiences and in-depth insights into the world of fashion. The stores are hosting more than 25 educational ‘style seminars’, chaired by recognised fashion authorities alongside experts from behind the scenes.

18 - 21 September
Somerset House once again plays host to Britain’s most stylish consumer fashion and shopping event; Vodafone London Fashion Weekend. Visitors can enjoy designer shopping, catwalk shows and first hand insider knowledge and style advice from the best brands in the business.

Knitwear: Chanel to Westwood
19 September - 18 January
An exciting combination of famous names and visually exciting pieces, the exhibition charts the influence of art movements Pop, Punk and Deconstruction alongside new knitwear technologies and design innovation.

Fashion Sunday
5 October
London’s premier event to shop and discover new and next generation designers. It’s a chance to get your hands on the very latest collections as well as truly one of a kind rare finds.

Fashioning Winter
11 November - 11 January
Nine displays, each curated by a fashion expert, will tell the story of trends in cold climates from the past century. Somerset House Curator Shonagh Marshall will also be presenting fashion shows which set scenes of magical winter landscapes, exploring the influence the fairytale, fantastical yet threatening, has had on the fashion industry.
