International Rock Paper Scissors Championship
16 April
Not sure this is technically a sport but it's held during Olympic years and that's good enough for me. Watch 128 competitors from around the world battle it out for the title of International Rock Paper Scissors Champion.

Virgin Money London Marathon
24 April
Join the crowds to cheer on the crazy fools running the 26.2 mile course around London's famous landmarks. Pubs on the route provide their own entertainment for spectators and runners alike with bands and street performers adding to the festival atmosphere.

The Tweed Run
14 May
Put on your plus-fours and Harris Tweed jacket then jump on your penny-farthing for a scenic 12 mile cycle around London. Celebrate after with a G&T or two. How wonderfully British.

The Gauntlet Games
14 May
Forget pain-inducing runs and challenges, the Gauntlet Games is all about having a giggle – what better way to spend your Saturday than bouncing, sliding and fighting your way through all kinds of crazy challenges with your friends?

European Aquatics Championships
9 - 22 May
See the best of Team GB’s aquatic stars such as Tom Daley and Adam Peaty in action before they head to Rio.

Chestertons Polo in the Park

One of London’s unmissable summer events, Chestertons Polo in the Park sees six different cities from around the world take part in this hotly contested event. And if the excitement gets too much you can enjoy some music whilst quaffing cocktails.

The Colour Run
12 June
Described as the happiest 5K run on the planet, why not join the fun and walk, jog, dance and party your way round this colourful course.

Mayfair Power & Tower Race

If a simple 5km run sounds too easy, why not put your money where your mouth is and tackle this challenge. All you have to do is run 5km and then dash up 28 flights of stairs. Easy.
