Billie Piper Speaks Out

Billie Piper has recently spoken out about growing up as a childhood star and how her ex husband Chris Evans saved her from going completely off the rails. When Billie was only 15 she soared to the top of the charts, the youngest child to make it to number one.

Billie recently stated “I can’t remember much – is that good or bad … I had my head in the clouds, was mad, neurotic and self-destructive, a very different character to the one you see today.”

She also admitted to trying a cocktail of drink and drugs although stated that she has never suffered from any sort of addiction. When the childhood star married Chris Evans she said that her life was turned around saying “Chris taught me fame is a game and unimportant. At times it’s a bit f****** annoying… It makes me blush when I walk down the street and there’s a sea of photographers. I won’t go to premieres because I hate walking up those bloody red carpets.”

Sadly the marriage did not last, but it seems the mutual respect is there to stay.
