Osidge

Your All In London guide to Osidge

This north London suburb was once home to Thomas Lipton, he of Lipton Tea fame who lived in a grand 60 acre estate, which has now been developed. He wasn’t the only famous person to spend time in Osidge, Amy Winehouse attended Osidge Primary School as she lived nearby. The district borders Southgate, therefore it shares many of the same characteristics, such as the 1930s semi-detached houses. Hampden Square to the west functions as a mini-shopping square, which also has a few eateries, however most amenities can be found in Southgate, as well as the Piccadilly Line tube station.
