South Kensington is probably best known for its museums – you will find the Victoria and Albert, Natural History Museum and Science Museum within a stone’s throw of each other, not forgetting the Royal Albert Hall and Royal College of Art. It’s hardly surprising then that the streets are filled with tourists, however it is also a largely residential (and immensely affluent) neighbourhood, with pretty white stucco terraced houses and numerous upmarket restaurants, bars, furniture shops and designer boutiques filling the streets. South Kensington is also home to Boujis, the nightclub so beloved of the young royals and their hangers-on.
