From the moment you walk in the door, this restaurant is special. The red, white and black decor is stunning. The staff are friendly and courteous and provide excellent service - attentive but not'in your face'. The food is above average and represents very good value.
Every time we go there, we are impressed all over again and friends to whom we've introduced the place always express the intention of returning soon.
In July I had my 60th birthday celebration there and couldn't have been more delighted. The owner, David sat with me for some time and planned a personalised menu and the seating arrangements. On the evening the tables looked beautiful - beyond my expectations. Even with quite a large group to cater for, the service was impeccable. Each guest's meal was beautifully presented and we were all served at the same time. Whatever choice had been made, everyone was very happy with their food. I couldn't praise Cru any more highly for the effort that was put into my special evening. It was a memorable occasion and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant for any meal from a lunch or dinner to a very special occasion.
