My wife and i have dined here for years (30 times plus) and never had a bad meal. The food has been uniformly excellent and the service very good with very pleasant and willing, albeit sometimes a little inexperienced, staff.

The prawn curry - 4 very large and juicy prawns now about £9.50 is excellent value too for the size of the portions.

This is not to be confused with Fatboys in Edensor Road Chiswick which, although closer for us with easier parking, is poor imitationand not worth a visit.

I went to this restaurant with a friend last night and the food was very nice. However after discovering a long black hair inside our rice bowl we asked for this to be rectified. Our plates were snatched away with half our food still on it and taken back to the kitchen with the offending bowl of rice and they returned with a new bowl of rice and new plates about 5 mins later by which time most of our food had started to go cold. They told us we could have the rice (£2) for free. When we suggested we werent really happy with that as we had been put off our dinner and there was no apology, we had to ask if we could have our bottle of house wine free. This was met with a no and we could have 2 glasses free. We were okay with that but the wine never came and the bill did with no money off. When we pointed this out, the staff who all looked under 20 were laughing and muttering in Thai to themselves and then had to phone up the apologetic manageress who had now cleared off and left these young waiters in chage. They had a heated debate on phone, came back with half the price of our bottle of wine but added in a service charge to make it the same price as before. By this point we were pretty disgusted by the way the whole situation had been handled and asked them to just take the service charge off and we paid.

At this time, a lady customer from across the restaurant came across to complain that she had been given chicken soup and was a vegetarian. Again this was met with no apology and instead waiting staff grinning and chatting to each other in Thai.

All in all, awful service experience and although food was nice, it didnt make up for it. Oh and we got 3 king prawns in our thai curry for £9.50 - hardly generous

Dont bother going
