La Cabana needs to buckle up where it is necessary before a great rock falls on her head. The steaks that we had were overcooked burnt to death, the rest of the food that we had must have been cooked straight out from the freezer! We addressed the issue to the Manager and she responded in the most uncompelling way. The table cloth was dirty, perhaps no one took the time to change it, I guess. There were three floor staffs, all of them were females, running around like headless chicken despite the fact the restaurant was not crowded. Food hygiene standards was appaling as we found a foreign object - hair in our food, sauce bottles were dirty. FYI, the three of us work in catering industry, I am a professional UK award winning chef, my friend is a specilist in European food and owner of an award winning boutique hotel in London and the last fella is a food outlet businessman in Malaysia and Slovakia. We understand every aspect of the work involved and sympathise any downfall of the business operation in La cabana. Having said that, there is no excuse for this restaurant to serve its customers such types of food and service. I strongly suggest La cabana to take every measureto clean uo the mess before the Health and Safety Executive from the council drops in to pay their visit. I also suggest the front line staffs to be taught about customer services and TCF. I personally will not visit this restaurant again after such an experience and there is no need for that, But professionaly speaking, I would like to hear more positive reviews in the future. I hope La Cabana will realise this now. Until then, I am not recommending anyone to dine at La Cabana.

(Sorry for the mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker)
I won't recommend this restaurant. A lot of dishes not available, problems with drink orders, and the food in itself is not great. Furthermore, we were seated near an air conditioner very dusty and loud (and not working obviously). I also hope that the hygiene of the kitchen is not equal to the one of the toilets...

Awful, awful, awful. We were quickly seated on the Thursday night we went to La Cabana. There were five of us; three were given silverware; four were given drinks we ordered. Repeated requests for silverware and drinks were ignored. The waiters, waitresses, manager and cook argued loudly near our table and cursed each other. At one point our waiter disappeared for approx. 20 minutes, returning carrying a bag from the convenience store across the street. Nearly an hour after we ordered our waiter informed us that one of the entrees was not available. At that point we gave up and left.

Awful. Waited over an hour for the food to arrive. And, after all that, it wasn't great. £15 per head and we drank tap water... Never again.
