Yen Lin

I came with two of my best friends the first time as they told they liked your cooking. I found two important things which i would not think i would like to come back again.
1) You should take the booking and tell customer what time your table is available for certain time e.g 6.00pm - 7.30pm so that your customers are aware of the time to leave the table for someone else. Last night you came to tell use to leave the table whilst we were just ordering second round of drinks. we have to drink up quickly just for the table available for the next customers. This is the sitation where i have never come across and you can lost your customers just to make money without knowing you customers want to spend more time to enjoy themselves after meals.
2) All you dishes are expensive £5.00 or over. I ordered two dishes, one is chicken and pork chow mein. The portion size is small and heardly any chicken or pork in it.
I know your business is good for the taste. who can tell except chinese people who knows the value they are getting from the restaurant.

best chinese food Ive ever tasted..I discovered it 9 years ago and its still my favourite have not found a better chinese restaurant, friendly atmosphere it has a homely feel. would recommend this to all.

Excellent food, excellent service!

I have been going to Yen Lins for 10 years now, I have been to Chinese eating house all over the UK, they are way ahead with choice and quality of food. I live in Hornchurch,Essex and go past approx 10 chinese places before I get to yen Lin. You must try the Chilli Chips or Mogua anyway if can try it if I could give it 20 out of 10 I would. Paul

After this restaurant was recommended to me and reading the rave reviews I couldn't wait to try out the food. Unfortunately, I have never been more dissappointed with a take away. The flattened spring rolls were the size of a jumbo jet, soaked with enough oil to fill a car engine. The hot and sour soup was tasteless. All the main dishes were also tasteless and so watery, they could have been mistaken for soups.

If anyone is reading this I would advise you not to go there. You could get a better Chinese meal from Tesco.

The atmosphere is excellent. It is very family friendly. Since I started going there 12+ years ago, it has increased in popularity. Just goes to show how good the food is. Not a place to be missed. Value for Money

Great choice of vegetarian food, not like other Chinese restaurants where you can only get one or two items of veg food. Great service, if you have not tried it yet, you must.

A wonderful selection of food available here. try the chilli panner, chilli mushrooms and manchurian rice balls. great service great food. if you want a friendly atomsphere and marvellous food then this is the place to go to. you will be back for more.

Fantastic food, great service, go there on a regular basis. The garlic chilli chicken is a MUST to try.

Fantastic spicy combination, love to eat there again and again

I am a regular visitor to this restaurant. I moved away from the area and still make a point to eat here or take away at least once a month. The best food by far!

This restaurant is one of my favourites! the food is absolutely amazing. I was introduced to it only this year and have been going back every month or so. Their garlic chilli chicken is def one to try! A great selection of food, good service (very quick) and always gets packed later in the evenings. Great for birthdays, anniversaries or a general dinner out.

Great spicy food! Not for the faint hearted. Quickly served and delish! Yum! Definitely a place to go x
